The Great Hamster Escape

On tuesday night Aj and I were watching tv at about 1230 am. I see this thing move on my floor. I just glance at it and it's big. I thought it was a mouse or something. Well I look better and it is our hamster. I go to pick him up and he tries to nip at me so I try to block him with my feet and he nips at them too. I followed him into our downstairs family room which is a storage room. He was playing hide and seek with us because everytime we left the room he came out and when we come back in he runs. That little stinker. Turns out he pushed out and up the wires of his cage and wiggled out. It took us 30 min to bribe him out and trap him.

The Unexpected Stay in Denver

On our way home from Florida, we were supposed to have a SHORT layover in Denver. Well Aj jinxed us. He said he wanted to have to stay one night in Denver. So guess what happened? Denver had a really bad hail storm. The hail was the size of golf balls so we couldn't land on time. We circled the airport for an hour and a half. But we still couldn't land. So we went to Colorado Springs to refuel and wait out the storm. After an hour in Colorado Springs we were cleared for take off. We ended up flying thru a lightning storm. It was so pretty but one of the most scary thing I have been thru. When we finally landed in Denver, our flight to Salt Lake had just taken off! We just couldn't believe it. And the next flight to Salt Lake was in the morning. They had reschedualed our flight for 3 pm the next day. In the mean time we went to a discounted hotel. It was the most awesome hotel I have ever been too.

Kennedy Space Center was one of my favorite things we did in FL. There was so much to see. And it was so fascinating.

Vacation Day 4 & 5

up to my ankle.
